I’m looking forward to attending the event this week which has been arranged following a successful conference at the same venue last October. It will be interesting to see what progress has been made. This is a follow-up to the October 28th 2014 NCSPVA Trafficking event, which featured key speakers presenting on the different forms of human trafficking and modern slavery, how they can cross over and how best to combat the problem.

This follow up event is an opportunity to discuss the progress since the October event, including the passing into law of the UK Government's Modern Slavery Bill, which puts in place numerous checks to help prevent and combat human trafficking, as well as appointing an Anti-Slavery Commissioner.
